V.W. Williams works for Fish & Richardson P.C. (www.fr.com), a large, national law firm that practices intellectual property, litigation, and corporate law. She began writing in 1995, and currently lives in Spring, Texas with her husband, children, four fat cats and two skinny fish. She is a member of SinC, Sisters in Crime (www.sistersincrime.org), a world-wide organization offering networking, advice and support to mystery authors, and The Final Twist, the Houston Chapter of SinC (www.thefinaltwist.com). A portion of profits from "Shadows of Trickle Creek" is donated to the Texas Council on Family Violence (www.tcfv.org). She is currently working on her second novel.
